As far as adding drivers for my Vista Business 64 bit laptop, do I need to install them on the laptop or the network computer with printer? This morning it took me about ten minutes to make the changes, do the rebooting, and print out a test page on each machine. Choose "NETWORK" 9. Go figure!

it might be easier.I just wonder why Microsoft hasn't had anything to say on this issue thus far. What's happened please? I would list it here, but we all have different printers. Like you said, selecting "local printer" when you know it's a printer on a networked system is indeed counter-intuitive.
