Check your address bar and amke sure you are navigating to the root of your website to make sure it works fine. No luck there, I'm sure I could get IIS to host, but I'm only looking at using this to test and debug so I'd prefer save the headaches from running a C) Does the "Authorization" show "Windows Authentication" as Enabled? However, (if I remember correctly) the website projects are configured to launch IE with the address of the current page you have open in the editor. BTW, Visual studio's built-in test webserver only support request from the local machine, web application hosted in built-in test server cannot be visited from remote client.
I goto view in browser in Visual Studio and the page errors "cannot be displayed", however; I can type in the directory and view all the files in the folder through off topic: I wanna thank Microsoft for putting that line there. D) The questions for above can be found using IIS Manager and inIIS Pane near the middle. I had to research how to find & edit this file (details below).
If you are developing an ASP.NET MVC website, that will result in the issue above, as the MVC routing system is configured to reject explicit requests to the pages and process http://dirsubmit.net/visual-studio/visual-studio-2010-internet-explorer-cannot-display-the-webpage.html My web.config file does not have the word override in it, so this looks like a bogus error message, or one that's not very helplful, at any rate. For offline users You can still view subscribed feeds and some recently viewed webpages. Let me know the results.

First thing I did was check the security software... item 3) The result of the "default" settings is to Deny users general access to the IIS Server. When I create "New Project" - the problem diminishes, and everything works fine. It's support for website porjects is way better.
Can you open a formal support ticket (for privacy reasons) and send us a link to access that website and check it directly?
