Regards! The DLL and the VBScript are packaged separately in the MSI file, streamed out into a temporary location, and run from there. I cleaned it and restarted the installer regularly, works great! It's on a virtual machine in the cloud the downside is the C: drive is resticted to 20gig most of which is taken up by the OS.
Please note that even after doing this, because Visual Studio installs several large OS components like the .NET Framework, then you will not be able to install all of Visual Studio We'll illustrate this CustomActionData idea with a simple VBScript custom action. and if yes then how..?
