Eg. Are you sure you didn't deselect something when installing VS2008? I hope MS fix up the Platform SDK installer to respect its default configuration in a future release. what shall I say, it was one day work, but something does not work and it is very subtle error. Now it cant find D3D8.h omg :s I got that in my D3D8 map tho. - Try this.
- It should be located in 32 bit systems: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Include 64 bit systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Include if VS was installed in the default directory.
- Normal repair will only repair the components installed, which doesn't seem to currently [install the] WinSDK components.

You can probably fix the problem by simply renaming the DX9 BaseTsd.h file to something else like BaseTsd_.h. Also as mentioned before but a user for teaching and stuff I would like to comment this. how bout this: building my cab file for a ce / smart device project sometimes tryies to include the cf 3.5 framework dll's and other times can't find any of the I would upgrade to 2013 if you have 2012u4. Shoukrys links , and if you want to program windows ensure to have a win32 sample class that compiles.

Well if you don't want to have your best out of your education that's you problem, but i think most of us do.
