Visual Foxpro Cannot Start. Insufficient Memory
Oh, had a situation where a client could not read a Word 97 document unless FoxPro for Windows was running. I suppose, with Windows XP, I can create a Restore Point before I make the changes. If you start FoxPro and get 'cannot find terminfo database', your system probably stores the terminfo database in /usr/share/terminfo (FoxPro searches for /usr/lib/terminfo). I heard the problem was resolved by reindexing every table used by the form. (open the table, then "REINDEX"). http://dirsubmit.net/visual-foxpro/visual-foxpro-cannot-start-there-is-not-enough-memory.html

- When and if 30 seconds seems too long a time to make the choice, you can modify the boot.ini file to say "timeout=10".
- I don't use screen sets much, so I can't give any more advice.

- Simple to install.

- Thus preventing you from running FoxPro for Windows.
If I misunderstood, and you actually want me to create the boot.ini file, and upload it where you can retrieve it, I will be glad to do that, as well. To reduce the occurrence of this error, teach the users to open FPW applications first. Then execute a Restore from that date if the changes don't work. There are no warranties, expressed or implied.
When you print a report, the FRX file will send output to the stored printer. I'm confident the solution is a simple one. Shortly afterwards the system became unstable and hosed - reset button time. One other suggestion.
When you reboot, you will be shown a screen to select between two 'operating systems'. The operating system and/or network hardware is your primary suspect. If I restart the executable more than a couple of times, however, I risk memory corruption. I can actually use my very simple genealogy VFP 3 application if I drop the MAXMEM value in Windows' boot.ini-file down to 240 MB and reboot the machine.
FoxPro 2.6 for DOS: Windows 2000/NT Couple of people had problems with slow execution under Windows 2000. This program executes under Windows 2000 as a process and is in charge of the DOS applications. You will have 30 seconds to choose between the two. You might have to remove/reinstall each third party driver in your printer folder until you find the bad one.

They have developed a front-end launcher for Foxbase+/FoxPro to enable century rollover. Or is it the pure VFP9 installation on Win732bit? That tells me Windows did not get in on the act sufficiently during the install process and may be the root of the problem.
