Reinstalled VMWare several time and ran repair several times before VMWare virtual network editor would not error out and gns3vmnet.exe would run successfully. Will spend some time trying to figure it out. The official manual from VMware for Workstation 6.5 and Server 2.0 can be found at http://www.vmware.com/products/beta/ws/vmrunCommand.pdf.
The shutdown type option 'soft' will run the shutdown scripts for you for the VM to gracefully power it down. You can not post a blank message. Now open a command prompt and enter in vmrun list. The path was wrong. Just glad we were able to help eachother out. I've included the vmware server route to the windows PATH, tried to run with many users, roles, permissions, tried all but nothing working.. Using the eval command twice How does Gandalf end up on the roof of Isengard?
