Vswitch0 is the mgmt, and vswitch1 is where my VM is.
What Default Gateway IP Address are you trying to Ping, and what is the IP Address of the VM ? From the sniff on the Fortigate we know that: the icmp packet is making it from the VM to the Fortigate. in the United States and certain other countries. So unless you can bridge back to that same routing address by making sure all the masks allow access, I don't see how that would work.--Tobias 1341-310925-1662266 Back to top Andrew

Even if you could accomplish what you are working on, I do not believe it would be a good topology from a security viewpoint. one more thing, does that sniff command on the Fortigate let you specify the interface? One interesting thing I notice is the arp reply's MAC doesn't look right. You are a genius!!!
I then created two new servers, one 2008 R2 for XenDesk and one Windows 7 for my Gold image. Please take a look at that the document http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/interfaces_modules/services_modules/sre_v/2.0/user/guide/vsphere.html#wp1081138 section Networking Prerequisites for Creating Virtual Machines This section has an example of configuring networking for the VM when the VM is They are not setup as bridged, but I did try that, I also tried using NIC 1 instead of 0 but that resulted in not being able to ping anything, So Not the answer you're looking for?
