I do not see a updated driver for this card. From Ubuntu, attempt to ping your windows IP, then immediately do arp -an to see if there is a mac address associated with the corresponding IP. Now if you have a DHCP server running on the network an IP will automatically be assigned else an Auto Private IP address will be assigned. More to be learned. I suggest you run Wireshark on a different physical machine which is in the same broadcast domain as the machine running VMware. I am now unable to ping my host, when using either my wired or wireless adapters.
