I have seen and tried every suggestion I have found, to no avail. if UAC is rapped up it wont allow any network sharing (HDD Wise)>Check that both Pc's are a registered product of windows>Change the group to a Home group , and a Both computers are connected to the Homegroup and are seen on my network with no problems... In win7 you are logged on as Jolene. I think there is some setting which I missed, hopefully someone can help me to solve it. The issue i found was : "guest" account was enabled on Windows 7 system.
